I am Dr. P.John Thomas Associate professor in Microbiology, I have vast
experience in teaching and research in Microbiology for the past 3yeras , my
area of specialization is Extra cellualr enzymes, Ascidian associated bacteria,
IgY technology, and Medical Microbiology
, I have been working for the past 21years as Assistant professor in
Microbiology, St. Joseph’s College of Arts & Science – Cuddalore-1 , I have
guided more 30 PG projects and 10 M. phil students, I have written so many
monographs in Microbiology for students. I have submitted 50 bacterial cultures
in Gen bank at NCBI , I have attended 60 more seminars and
webinars , I have published more than 13 papers in reputed journals. I have
conducted more than 100 extension activities for the society especially
HIV/AIDS awareness program among students, and I also interested in social
research activities and also community related medical research works. I focus
my research on Antimicrobial resistance and Biofilm activity especially in
medical sectors. My strength is to mange a good leadership quality, innovation
for more ideas and visionary to maintain to student community to achieve in the
field of Microbiology. At present I work as Associate professor in Microbiology
and HOD of Medical lab Sciences in Divine Mother College -Puducherry-05, we do
research in Hematology, serology and pathology. I have my own Entrepreneur
skills running a small scale Biofertilizer Industry (AALAM BIOFARMING) in
Puducherry where we produce Biofertilizers, Micronutrients and Vermi composts
for agricultural beneficiaries and support for farmers . I have interested in
writing articles and publishing papers in journals and other scientific
schemes.so I feel pride and happy to be a editorial member in your Red flower research
journals. I am happy to share my experienced knowledge in the microbiology field to the scientific community and enrich the
growth of science in publishing good papers and articles in the biological
science.
