Alpana Saha has attended Master of Science degree from Department of Botany of Tilka Majhi Bhagalpur University in the year 2004. In 2005 completed Post Graduate Diploma Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the Indira Gandhi National Open University. She was passionate about writing from the very early life. Immediately after her completion of 12th studies she starting freelancing and took various part time work in different media houses like Priya Prabhat and Danik Jagaran. After completion of her graduation in 2001 she took up part time work in a school called the New Century School as English, Science, Everyday Science, Environmental Science and Biology teacher. Then after completion of her masters in 2004 she again took up freelancing assignments and writing work in various media houses. In 2007 she took permanent work as Associate copy editor in Thomson Digital for editing of Medical Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences and Paramedic journals of Lippincott Williams Wilkins publisher. In 2010 she took up Copy Editor role in Aptara Corporation and work there till December 2011. In December 2011 she switched to Apcer Pharma as copy editor for editing of medical case histories and clinical trial scripts related to various drugs. In 2013 she was selected as Sub-Editor for Department of Biotechnology Communication Cell Project by Vigyan Prasar. She remained the employee of Vigyan Prasar till October 2018. From 3rd October to 23rd November 2018 worked as communication consultant at Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. On 26th November 2018 joined All India Council for Robotics and Automation as Managing Editor for their upcoming publication project FutureTech. The entire planning and publication team for the project was set up by Alpana. She was also the registered editor of the FutureTech Magazine at the time of inception of the Magazine. Within two month of her joining the organization she successfully launched all indigenous technology-based commercial magazines named FutureTech. In August 2019 she selected for PhD course by AcSIR. Since then she is fulltime research scholar from CSIR-NIScPR lab. She has more than hundred publications in her name till date including both research articles and popular articles.
