Myself Dr. Hemang Jani is an experienced physiotherapy researcher and academic leader currently serving as the Professor and In-Charge Principal at the Ganpat University Institute of Physiotherapy, Mehsana, India. With over 14 years of experience in both academic and clinical settings, I have dedicated my career to advancing the field of physiotherapy through rigorous research, clinical practice, and academic leadership. My areas of expertise include musculoskeletal physiotherapy, neurological rehabilitation, sports physiotherapy, and geriatric and pediatric rehabilitation. I have actively contributed to research in pulmonary and cardiac rehabilitation, exercise training and prescription, and healthcare innovation. At my lab at Ganpat University, my team and I are engaged in several ongoing projects that span evaluating novel rehabilitation techniques for chronic pain management, investigating post-stroke recovery, and developing injury prevention programs tailored for athletes. Additionally, I am involved in geriatric care research, where we explore strategies to enhance mobility and quality of life in elderly populations. Our interdisciplinary approach to research aims to bridge the gap between evidence-based practices and real-world clinical applications. In my role as a researcher and academician, I have authored numerous articles, participated in peer-review processes, and collaborated with global experts to contribute to advancements in physiotherapy and rehabilitation sciences. My objective is to drive healthcare improvements through innovation and evidence-based approaches, ensuring that both students and clinicians benefit from the latest scientific insights.
