Introduction

My name is Dr. Geetanjali Panda, and I am currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anthropology at B.J.B. Autonomous College, Bhubaneswar.  I have completed both my Postgraduate degree and Ph.D. in Anthropology from Utkal University. I have around nine years of teaching experience in the field of Anthropology. My primary area of research is Social Anthropology. Apart from teaching, my areas of professional interest include research and impact assessment. I am particularly interested in understanding society, culture, and social processes through an anthropological perspective and contributing to meaningful research that can have a positive impact on society.  As an educator, I believe that teaching is not only about imparting knowledge but also about encouraging students to think critically, understand diverse social realities, and develop a broader perspective towards society and culture.
