My name is Mrs. Gayatri J, and I have completed my M.Sc. Nursing in Obstetrics and Gynecology from KSV University, C. M. Patel College of Nursing. I also completed my B.Sc. Nursing from the same university. I started my professional journey as a Staff Nurse at KD Hospital, Ahmedabad, where I worked from December 2020 to August 2021. This experience gave me valuable exposure to clinical practice and helped me understand the importance of safe, compassionate, and quality patient care. It also taught me how to remain calm and manage challenging situations with confidence. After completing my postgraduate studies, I developed a strong interest in nursing education. Currently, I am working as an M.Sc. Nursing Tutor at KD Institute of Nursing Sciences, Ahmedabad, where I have been working since June 2024. I enjoy being in an academic environment because it gives me the opportunity to share my knowledge and experiences with students while continuously learning myself. I especially like connecting theoretical concepts with practical clinical experiences so that students can understand nursing in a more meaningful and practical way. I would describe myself as a dedicated, enthusiastic, responsible, and calm person. I believe that nursing is not only about knowledge and clinical skills but also about empathy, patience, effective communication, and continuous learning. My goal is to continue developing my professional knowledge and skills, contribute to the academic growth of nursing students, and make a meaningful contribution to the nursing profession and healthcare services. I am grateful for the experiences I have gained so far, and I look forward to learning new things, taking on greater responsibilities, and growing further in my career.
