My name is Dr. K. Saraswathi, and I am a dedicated physiotherapist with a passion for advancing the field of cardio-respiratory and orthopedic rehabilitation. I hold a Master of Physiotherapy (M.P.T.) and a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (B.P.T.) from Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University in Chennai, where I graduated with commendable marks. My academic journey has been marked by a commitment to excellence, which I aim to translate into my professional practice. With over a decade of experience as a clinical physiotherapist, I have worked in various esteemed institutions, including Aswini Soundara & Research Center and Vijaya Heart Foundation, where I gained hands-on experience treating patients in ICU and other critical care units. Currently, I serve as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Physiotherapy, Dr. M.G.R Educational and Research Institute, where I share my knowledge and expertise with aspiring physiotherapists. My research interests have led me to present papers at national and international conferences, including on topics such as the effects of exercise training on obesity-related cardiovascular risk factors and pulmonary rehabilitation for post-COVID-19 patients. In addition to my teaching role, I have published numerous articles in prestigious journals, contributing to the evolving discourse in physiotherapy. I am also pursuing a PhD part-time in the same institution, continually striving to deepen my understanding and impact in the field. I believe in the importance of ongoing education and have attended various conferences and webinars, particularly during the pandemic, to stay updated with the latest advancements. Outside of my professional life, I am committed to personal growth and community service, always looking for ways to apply my skills to help others. I am eager to embrace new challenges that foster my professional development and allow me to make a meaningful contribution to healthcare.
