He holds an MBBS with Gold Medal honors, an M.S. in General Surgery, and an M.Ch. in Plastic Surgery, all from institutions affiliated with Kerala and M.G. Universities. Dr. Venugopal has held numerous senior academic and administrative roles, including Professor and HOD of Surgery at PK Das Institute of Medical Sciences and head roles at other major medical colleges in Kerala.
