Dr. Dhavalkumar V. Patel is a highly experienced and dual-qualified professional with a Ph.D. in Pharmacy (2011) and an M.S. in Regulatory Affairs for Drugs, Biologics & Medical Devices (Northeastern University, Boston, 2019). He combines over 15 years of cumulative experience across both the Pharmaceutical Industry (5+ years) and Academia (9 years).His career demonstrates a unique blend of scientific and compliance expertise. In industry, he served as Assistant Manager of Quality Assurance (QA) in the U.S., specializing in Regulatory Compliance with the FDA and DEA, managing annual product quality reviews (APQR), deviations, CAPA, and leading internal and regulatory audits. Academically, he was an Assistant Professor for over six years, teaching advanced topics like Novel Drug Delivery Systems (NDDS), Quality Assurance, and regulatory submissions (IND, NDA), while supervising 7 postgraduate and Ph.D. students.Dr. Patel is also a published author of two books and serves on the editorial boards of several journals. His research focuses on formulation development, specifically herbal drug standardization and novel dosage forms such as bitter taste-masking mouth-dissolving tablets. He is a recognized Ph.D. supervisor and a former elected member of the Gujarat State Pharmacy Council.
