Introduction


Completed Graduation (MBBS) & Postgraduation (MS in General Surgery and MCh & PhD in Plastic Surgery) in India. Underwent Higher Training in Laser Surgery, Endoscopic Plastic Surgery, Aesthetic Surgery from USA and Training in Mesotherapy, Fillers from France. Started as HOD, Department of Plastic Surgery in NGMC Medical College, SVIMS University and JIPMER with MCh Course, Regenerative Clinic, Cleft Centre and Tertiary Burn Centre. Received 10 Fellowships including Fellowship from Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCS-Ed). Has been Awarded 47 Awards including Oscar of Medicine International BMJ Award.He is First in South India in a Government Hospital to develop and start various new services like ‘JIPMER Tertiary Burn Centre (JTBC)’, ‘Online Registration Service (ORS)’, ‘e-Blood Bank Service (EBBS)’, ‘e-Classroom Service’, ‘Tele-Radiology Service’, ‘Tele-Evidence Service’, ‘Virtual Tumor Board Clinic (VTBC)’ and ‘Tele-Recording. He is Editorial Board Member/Reviewer for more than 100 Journals. He is Member of Editorial Advisory Board Member for 2 Books. He is Visiting Professor to AIIMS New Delhi, India. He is Nodal Officer for 7 Projects for Government of India. In JIPMER he is Chairman of 3 Committees, Member Secretary of 2 Committees & Member of 15 Committees.
