Introduction


 Dr. Dibyendunarayan Bid is a highly accomplished physiotherapy professional with over 27 years of teaching and clinical experience. He holds multiple advanced degrees, including a PhD in physiotherapy from RK University, with research focused on central sensitization in chronic low back pain. His academic background also includes a Master of Physiotherapy in Orthopedics, a postgraduate diploma in sports physiotherapy, and various certifications in osteopathy, acupuncture, and health sciences. Dr. Bid has served in various capacities, including associate professor and principal in charge at the Sarvajanik College of Physiotherapy, Surat. With 38 published research papers and six authored books, his expertise spans across physiotherapy education, clinical research, and manual therapy techniques. Dr. Bid has been an active contributor to numerous workshops, seminars, and conferences, sharing his knowledge on spinal manipulation, dry needling, and advanced physiotherapy practices. His leadership and contributions to the physiotherapy profession have earned him awards and recognition, including the “Significant Contribution Award” from the Indian Association of Physiotherapists in 2014. He is also a PhD guide, editorial board member of multiple international journals, and a reviewer for prominent physiotherapy publications.
