Dr. Devidas G. Maley is graduated, post-graduated and doctorate in Law from Gulbarga University, Gulbarga in 1996, 1998 and 2009 respectively. His M. Phil research is on the topic entitled “Interrelationship of TRIPs and CBD: An Indian Perspectives” and his Ph.D. research is on the topic entitled “Impact of Emerging International Legal Regimes under TRIPs and CBD on India: A Critical Study”. He is serving as Assistant Professor of Law at the Department of Post-Graduate Studies and Research in Law, Gulbarga University, Gulbarga since 2003. He has also served and serving in different capacities such as Chairperson of the Department of Law, Chairman of Board of Studies in Law and Chairman of Board of Examiners and member of Faculty in Law and Chairman BOE for M. Phil. in Law. He has been recognized by the Gulbarga University, Gulbarga as research guide. He has successfully guided for three M. Phil. Students, presently guiding one M. Phil. student and 11 Ph.D. scholars and successfully guided 54 LL.M. students for their dissertations. He has received two wards namely: UGC-Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) in 1998 and UGC Research Award 2016-18. He is well-versed in editing the research works. He has published many research articles in national and international journals and also presented research papers in national and international conferences/seminars/workshops. He has delivered lectures as a resource person at national conferences/seminars/workshops. He has also delivered special lectures in other Departments/Institute. At three times he has given media talks in Doordarshan Kendra, Gulbarga. He has participated in many National and international conferences, seminars, symposiums and workshops. He organized four academic events like seminars and workshop.
