Introduction


Dr. Ved Prakash Rao Cheruvu is a highly qualified and experienced Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhopal, where he has served since 2017.He holds an extensive academic background, including an MBBS (2007) and M.S. in General Surgery (2012) from Gandhi Medical College, and a M.Ch. in Plastic Surgery (2015) from the prestigious PGIMER, Chandigarh. Further specializing his expertise, he completed a Fellowship Course in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (FCAPS) in 2017, focusing on a broad range of cosmetic procedures.Dr. Cheruvu's clinical practice covers the entire spectrum of plastic surgery, with particular competence in reconstruction for trauma (including hand and microvascular surgery), acute burn management, congenital anomalies (clefts, craniofacial), onco-reconstruction (including free flaps), and a wide array of aesthetic procedures (rhinoplasty, breast and body contouring, Botox, fillers, lasers). He is actively involved in academic leadership, teaching M.Ch. and M.S. residents and MBBS students, and has contributed to research with numerous presentations and publications in peer-reviewed journals.
