Introduction

I am Dr. Shweta A. Kulkarni, a dedicated physiotherapist and academician with over a decade of experience bridging the gap between clinical practice and education. I hold a Master of Physiotherapy in Pediatric Neurology and am currently advancing my academic journey by pursuing a Ph.D. in Health Sciences, specializing in Health Professions Education at the Datta Meghe Institute of Higher Education and Research. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of teaching and mentoring students at various esteemed institutions, which has deeply fueled my commitment to both academic excellence and rigorous scientific inquiry.

My research endeavors form the cornerstone of my professional identity, focusing heavily on professional expertise development and the continuum of clinical logic. I am deeply engaged in studying clinical reasoning patterns as they seamlessly evolve from the classroom into the clinic.

My clinical research investigates dual-task mobility, cognitive-motor relationships, and community reintegration, utilizing sequential cohort studies and think-aloud protocols to track patient progress over extended periods, such as the crucial first twelve months of integration. I have published extensively—with over 30 peer-reviewed publications covering pediatric care, geriatric balance, and musculoskeletal disorders—and hold three recent patents for innovative physiotherapy and neuro-observation devices. By integrating my clinical background with structured academic research, my objective is to continuously refine clinical assessment methods, enhance educational frameworks, and ultimately elevate the standard of patient care
