Dr. Biswarup
Dey is presently working as an Assistant Professor
in Forensic Science, Adamas University, where he combines teaching, research,
and academic mentorship. He is a scholar and educator in Anthropology whose
work spans forensic, biological, and cultural domains. His academic
contributions reflect a strong commitment to advancing the methodological and
applied dimensions of anthropology, particularly in forensic contexts. His
areas of expertise include forensic identification, craniofacial and
anthropometric analysis, dermatoglyphics, palmar and hand geometry, and
biometric applications in human identification.
Dr. Dey has
authored and co-edited significant scholarly works, including Advances in
Anthropology, which brings together diverse perspectives on human
variation, culture, and forensic practice. His ongoing projects address
critical issues such as stature estimation from cranial and post-cranial
measurements, sex determination from odontological and dermatoglyphic features,
