I am Dr. Aishwarya Lachake, a Consultant Pediatrician and Newborn Specialist with over 11 years of clinical experience in pediatrics and neonatal care. I have completed my MBBS, DCH from KEM Hospital, Mumbai, and DNB in Pediatrics from Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai. Over the years, I have worked across diverse clinical settings, gaining experience in outpatient pediatrics, inpatient care, neonatal medicine, preventive pediatrics, childhood nutrition, growth and developmental monitoring, and management of common as well as complex pediatric conditions.

My professional interests extend beyond clinical practice to include academic medicine, medical education, research, and evidence-based pediatric care. I have been actively involved in academic activities, scientific discussions, case presentations, and medical writing, with a particular interest in translating current evidence and clinical guidelines into practical approaches for pediatric care. I value critical appraisal of scientific literature and believe that high-quality research and responsible dissemination of medical knowledge are essential for improving patient outcomes.

I have also contributed to scientific publications and appreciate the importance of rigorous peer review in maintaining the quality, integrity, and relevance of medical literature. My clinical experience allows me to evaluate research from a practical perspective, particularly with regard to its applicability to real-world pediatric and neonatal practice.
