Prof. (Dr.) Ashish
Chauhan (PT) am an
accomplished physiotherapy academician, researcher, and healthcare professional
specializing in Orthopedic Physiotherapy. I am currently serves as Professor
and Dean at Future University, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. With more than a decade
of academic and professional experience, I has held several significant
positions, including Associate Professor at MVN University, Palwal; Head of the
Department and Associate Professor at Starex University, Gurugram; Associate
Professor at Sanskriti University, Mathura; and various academic and
administrative positions at Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute of Paramedical
Sciences, Bareilly. I holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Janardan Rai Nagar
Rajasthan Vidyapeeth, Udaipur, a Diploma in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation
from Jyoti College of Management Science & Technology, Bareilly, and a
Master of Physiotherapy from Sai Institute of Paramedical & Allied
Sciences, Dehradun, with specialization in Orthopedics. He is currently
pursuing his PhD at Career Point University, Kota, Rajasthan, with his thesis
work in progress and expected completion in June 2027.My professional expertise
encompasses orthopedic rehabilitation, musculoskeletal physiotherapy, pain
management, therapeutic exercise, and evidence-based physiotherapy
interventions. My research contributions include studies on shoulder pain,
myofascial trigger points, knee osteoarthritis, plantar heel pain, adhesive
capsulitis, anterior knee pain, TENS, IFT, kinesio taping, and exercise
therapy.I has authored and co-authored numerous research publications in
physiotherapy and allied health sciences. He is also an inventor of a
physiotherapy device for pain management using a multi-frequency TENS unit. His
academic achievements have been recognized through several honors, including
Best Academician Award (Senior Category) in 2025, Best Academician Award in
2024, Best Academic Senior Award in 2022, and Best Academic Award in the Senior
Category in 2022.I am a professional member of the National Commission for
Allied and Healthcare Professions and the Indian Association of
Physiotherapists. Aacademic leadership, research activities, clinical
expertise, and contributions to physiotherapy education reflect my commitment
to advancing the quality and scope of physiotherapy practice and education in
India
