Introduction


Dr. Amit Kumar Singh (PT) was trained at Padmashree Institute of Physiotherapy, RGUHS, Bangalore and BIMR College of Professional Studies, Jiwaji University, Gwalior, India. He is currently pursuing PhD from KPGU University, Vadodara. He is working as an Assistant Professor at Krishna School of Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation, KPGU, Vadodara. He has been actively involved in treating patients with various Musculoskeletal & Sports disorders. As a sports therapist and pain management specialist his passion lies in helping individuals of all ages and abilities overcome physical limitations and achieve their goals through a combination of manual therapy, therapeutic exercises and education. He is a highly skilled and experienced physiotherapist with over 9 years of experience in the field. He has authored more than 6 international publications. He has an extensive interest in research regarding various musculoskeletal disorders occurring due to occupational hazards. He has been actively involved in providing ergonomic awareness sessions for various medical professionals and industry employees. He provides tailored ergonomic sessions from desk set-up and equipment positioning to ergonomic exercises and stretches. He has exposure to various techniques like Manual Therapy, Sports Rehabilitation, Dynamic Taping, Trigger point release, PNF, MFR and various other techniques.
