Ensuring the equitable access to the differently abled is the theme discoursed currently among the higher ups in Sri Lanka. The disabled, the poorest and the marginalized are neglected in the society and that most of them are unaware of the opportunities available for them. In this backdrop, Awareness among the parents of the disabled regarding inclusive  education is , inter alia required appropriate interventions to ensure that the barriers to access to education encountered by certain sections of population, particularly the differently abled are overcome through a well orchestrated strategies.  Accordingly, substantial steps were taken in to ensure equalization of rights and opportunities for differently abled persons in Sri Lanka. Nonetheless, a large numbers of differently abled persons are confined to their homes without access to formal education.  Though there could be a number of reasons the denial of access to education for the disabled, the factor of awareness among the parents of the differently abled are significant in mainstreaming the differently abled to the formal school in the set up of access to inclusive education.The major objective of this study is to find out the differential influence of selected factors on awareness of inclusive education for sustainability among the parents of the disabled.  The target population of the study is the parents of the differently abled living in Sri Lanka. The sample of 50 parents living in Ampara district of Sri Lanka was selected at random from the list of parents of the differently abled from the census of 2011. Data were collected by using the tool of questionnaire and personal data sheet. The data were analyzed with the aid of Mean, Standard Deviation and t test. In the analysis, it was found that urban parents, male parent and the parents studied more than GCE (O/L) have higher level of awareness than the rural parents, female parents, and the parents studied less than GCE (O/L) examination.

As a new medium enters the educational scene, there is a great deal of initial interest and much enthusiasm about the effects it is likely to have on instructional practices. However, enthusiasm and interest eventually fade, and an examination reveals that the medium has had a minimal impact on such practices.  During the last decade, the use of the Internet and personal computer in the classrooms at all levels has become very common as the speed of the Internet increased and the processing power of the PC climbed. The question is whether the recent development and classroom adoption of computer technology will affect the education in an effective way from which the past technological innovations have. The aim of the study was to assess the attitude on use of technology in classroom among the faculty of management in SRM university  and to associate the attitude on use of technology in classroom among the faculty of management in SRM university with their demographic variables. Quantitative approach and Non Experimental descriptive research design was used. The Study variable  include Attitude on use of technology in classroom, Demographic variables includes age, sex, education, teaching assignment, income, exposure to use of technology, years of exposure, number of students enrolled, number of classes taught. The  data collection instrument consisted of 2 parts. Section A: Demographic variables and Section B which consists of the attitude scale derived by the investigator. It consists of 26 items related to teacher’s attitude on use of technology in classroom.Based on the Inclusion and Exclusion criteria 100 faculty of management in SRM university by using non-probability convenient sampling technique were selected to participate in the study. The study was conducted at  S.R.M School of Management, SRM  University, Kattankulathur The data was analyzed and interpreted based on the objectives using descriptive and inferential Statistics. The major findings of the study were with the reflect of overall status is the 0% of faculty had unfavorable attitude on use of technology in classroom. 32 (32%) of faculty had moderately favorable attitude on use of technology in classroom. 68 (68%) faculty had favorable attitude on use of technology in classroom. There is significant association between the attitude on use of technology in classroom among faculty of management with their demographic variables like exposure and year of exposure to use of technology in classroom. Technology has played a central role in improving teaching and learning in light of educational reforms around the globe. More positive teachers attitudes were toward technology the more likely they were to integrate it in classroom

The advent of Information Communication Technology has offered a plethora of opportunities and spaces for educational practices.  At present, the pedagogical delivery of lessons in most of the countries in the world has got reshaped and absorbed Web Blog Based Instruction (WBBI) as means of modern learning and teaching process.  However, most of the graduate teachers in Sri Lanka, seem to be reluctant to capitalize on this effective instructional strategy of web blog based instruction instead of their conventional method of teaching. The main objective of this study is to find out the differential influence of selected demographic variables on web blog based instruction. A self-prepared tool of Attitude Scale was employed among graduate teachers and data were analyzed by using “t” test and ANOVA. The results revealed that the extent of awareness among graduate teachers is mediocre and the selected factors have differential influence in awareness towards web blog based instruction in teaching learning process in school level.

Generally youth are considered the pillars of any society. However over time the Indian youthsýÿ view on various issues has not been considered despite their ever increasing numbers and influence in the society. The paper therefore is an investigation into the perspective of youth in relation to peace building, healing and reconciliation in India. This has been a missing component in the handling of national matters, yet the young people’s potential cannot be underestimated. The following objectives are 1. To understand problems faced by youths during their Higher Education. 2. To find out the root for pushing of youths from peace to violence mode. 3. To analyse the peace studies curriculum needs in higher education system. The finding is there are 68 percent of the higher education students are committed any one of minor crime during the year. There are 64 percent of the higher education’s students are belonging to lover class family status. The higher education students are more than 80 percent of them not aware about the peace studies. There are 88 percent of them fell that the social environment only was deciding that behaviours in higher education. The 100 percent of the higher education students are recommended that the peace studies must be add in curriculum of every higher education courses. As per the current situation the higher education students are most of them was committed with minor crimes within the pear pressure only. If the colleges and other higher education institution are giver prober guidance to their students then only the crime rate will be reduce in future. The education institution could be including peace education as one of the subject in all courses that may create awareness about peace education among youth.
