Scald burns are common in paediatric age group in India. In children, contact with hot surfaces and scald burns are the most common presentation to the hospital. The practice of cooking at ground level or sleeping with a burning lamp are some of the causes. Early management of this type of burns results in better outcomes. In this case we describethe role of non-cultured keratinocyte graft as a therapy in Scald Burn.

For the purpose of simplifying and streamlining wound measurement and recording, smartphone specific applications like Imitomeasure have been developed. As a non contact digital planimetry application, the Imitomeasure app has an edge over other techniques. There are several ways to measure a wound, including using a photograph, a comparison, a ruler, or a graph.1 When the Imitomeasure app's effectiveness in measuring wounds was examined, it was discovered to be a useful tool. In this study, the Imitomeasure app's goal was to measure the size of the wound and take action to reduce it.

The negative pressure wound therapy with instillation and dwell time (NPWT-id) is a method which is useful as an adjunct in the management of venous ulcer. This an effective method to treat the wounds with active infection. NPWT id is effective in preparing the wound bed with a lesser number of dressing changes and comparatively lesser treatment cost. Overview: A case report about venous ulcer bed preparation with the help of NPWT-id.

Objectives: In this study we have assessed the viability of skin grafts stored using autologous platelet rich plasma. To assess the usage of Autologous platelet rich plasma as a storage medium for Skin graft. Materials and Methods: The Skin graft was harvested from the patient who underwent surgery in hospital. The harvested skin grafts are stored in the medium with autologous platelet rich plasma. Autologous platelet rich plasma has rich source of proteins and growth factors. The autologous platelet rich plasma was prepared from the patient own blood. The histological changes of the skin graft were assessed periodically on day 7, 14 and day 21. Results: Autologous platelet rich plasma stored skin graft were able to preserve the histological changes of stored skin grafts on day 7, 14 and day 21. Conclusion: Preserved skin grafts can either be used in staged reconstructive procedures as autografts or for temporary coverage of wounds as allografts. Three dimensional (3D) tablets have been in use over recent years. It is mainly used in the entertainment and media industry to provide a better experience from the usual two dimensional effect of visualization. The third dimension ie. Depth allows for a more wholesome experience as our normal vision is three dimensional and not two dimensional. We have tried in this article to identify if three dimensional imaging using 3D tablet can be used in plastic surgery as the specialty involves identification of the three dimension defect and reconstruction of the same defect in the three dimensions of reconstruction (length, breadth, and depth).

The pain of losing a part of the body can put any individual into anxiety and can disable him psychologically and physically. The concealment of an amputated appendage using a prosthesis can prevent social stigma, bring back the confidence as well as can help in the improvement of physical function to some extent. The Prosthesis must be economical, comfortable, lightweight, durable, cosmetically appealing, and easy to wear. The treatment of any amputee completes only with the complete rehabilitation. The commercially available prosthesis is costly and during the COVID-19 lockdown, many of the prosthesis making units were non-functional. Then the option to complete the rehabilitation is to go for the indigenous prosthesis. In this article, we share our experience of making simple, cost effective and modest prosthetic options to a patient who lost her little finger following a full thickness electrical burn.
