Either way, memories of childbearing experiences can stay with women throughout their lifetimes. Respectful Maternity care is a care which is provided during labour and child birth. According to the WHO It is not a help or our duty it is a human right of the lady or women, but according the many studies some of lady are not got Respectful Maternity care during that time due to that reason the mortality and morbidity rate is not reduce in rural areas and some urban areas also. So there is the need to take care of that ladies or women which is not got right treatment and Respectful care during labour or childbirth

Maternal overweight and obesity increase risks of pregnancy and delivery complications and neonatal mortality, but the mechanisms are unclear. The purpose of the study was to assess the trends of maternal weight gain among pregnant women. A quantitative approach with the non-experimental descriptive correlative design was used among 200 antenatal mothers in Gynecology wards and OPD of a tertiary care hospital, in Kochi, India. Maternal weight gain in this study was assessed based on the Institute of Medicine (IOM) weight gain recommendations in 2011 for pregnancy. All singleton Pregnancies with the cephalic presentation, on or above 35 weeks of gestation and Pre-pregnancy/Early pregnancy BMI ≥ 18.5 kg/m2 were included. BMI was calculated and women were categorized into 4 groups. Results revealed that 57%of they were below 27 years of age, almost half of the mothers were primi and 75% of them were without previous complications whereas 53% of pregnant mothers have complications currently. In pre-pregnancy, Maternal weight gain trends in mothers were 67.5% and 16.5% in Normal BMI and Overweight respectively whereas in the third trimester, 51% were overweight and 30% only remained in normal BMI. The trend in the underweight category showed a remarkable reduction from 12% in Pre-pregnancy to 2% in the third trimester whereas pregnant mothers in the category Obese increased from 4% to 17% in the third trimester. Out of Normal weight gain (N=65) mothers in Early pregnant states, 67.2% of them gained Less than IOM recommended weight (11.3-15.8 Kg), followed by 23.4% of Normal IOM recommended weight and only 3% gained greater than IOM recommendation. Major complications include Fetal distress, Hypoglycemia, and GDM. The study concluded that IOM weight gain recommendations for antenatal women should be followed to minimize adverse health outcomes for mothers and children.

Aim: To assess the knowledge of primiparous and multiparous mothers regarding weaning practices in infants and to improve their knowledge. Objective: Objectives of the study to assess the knowledge of primiparous and multiparous mother regarding weaning practices in infants and tofind out the association between demographic variables with knowledge scores of primiparous and multiparous women regarding weaning practices in infants.

Methods: The research method adopted for this study is a quantitative approach. The research design adopted for this study was a comparative design. Formal Permission was obtained from the concerned authorities nonprobability purposive sampling technique was used to select the sample for the study. The sample consists of 60 primiparous mothers and 60 multiparous mothers, The instrument used for the data collection is a self-structured knowledge questionnaire. Collected data were analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistics.

Results: After tabulation and analysis 60 samples were taken from primparous mothers in that majority of the subjects 41.6% (25) were in the age group of 19-23 years. Majority of the study samples were Hindus 32 (53.3%). Almost 34.4%(20) had education status SSLC to PUC. Most of the mothers 58.4%(35) got information from family members and friends. Most of the mothers 20 (34.4%) are having an income of 15001 and above. 60 samples were taken from multiparous mothers in the majority of the subjects 36.6% were in the age group of 29-33 years. The majority of the study samples were Hindus 30 (50%). Almost 34.4%(20) had education status SSLC to PUC. Most of the mothers 40%(24) were got information from family members and friends. Most of mothers 23(348.4%) are having income of 5001-10000. 3(5%) primiparous samples and 17(28.4%) multiparous samples had adequate knowledge regarding weaning practices. 20(33.4%) and 35(58.3%) respectively from primi and multiparous mothers had moderate knowledge and assessed that 37 (61.6%) samples from primiparous mothers and 8(13.3%) samples from multiparous mothers had inadequate knowledge regarding weaning practices in infants.

Conclusion: The study findings showed that the multiparous mothers are having more knowledge than primiparous mothers regarding weaning practices in infants and there are some demographic variables associated with knowledge regarding weaning practices in infants.

The role of nano crystalline silver solution in the treatment of wounds has been widely used owing to its role in decreasing pain levels during dressing changes, decreasing the frequency of dressing changes, reducing wound exudate and bioburden levels, promoting wound healing in chronic wounds, decreasing the matrix metalloproteinase activity & its cost effectiveness. Plenty of evidence is available regarding the same in literature. Here, in our study, we are evaluating the efficacy of use of nano crystalline solution in the treatment of adult thermal burns.
