Cervical cancer remains a significant public health challenge in India, with high incidence and mortality rates, particularly in underserved and rural communities. Community – based cervical cancer screening (CBCS) programs offer a promising strategy to improve early detection rates and reduce disease burden. This review synthesizes findings from nursing research, including studies from India to evaluate the effectiveness of CBCS initiatives, focusing on the role of nurses, barriers to screening, and health outcomes. The review highlights the need for culturally sensitive interventions and the challenges related to program sustainability to ensure long-term success.
 

Background: Stroke is a leading cause of morbidity and disability worldwide, significantly impairing the functional abilities of survivors. Effective nursing interventions are essential to optimize recovery outcomes in stroke patients.

Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the impact of a clinical nursing care pathway on reducing functional disability in stroke patients admitted to critical care units in Gurugram, Haryana, India.

Methods: A quasi-experimental design was employed, involving 30 stroke patients who were divided into two groups. The experimental group (n=15) received care based on a structured nursing care pathway, while the control group (n=15) received standard nursing care. Functional outcomes were assessed using the Barthel Index and Modified Rankin Scale after 72 hours of intervention.

Results: Patients in the experimental group demonstrated significantly improved functional status compared to the control group. The application of the clinical nursing care pathway resulted in enhanced recovery, as evidenced by higher Barthel Index scores and lower Modified Rankin Scale scores in the experimental group. These findings suggest that a structured, evidence-based nursing approach contributes to better functional outcomes in stroke patients.

Conclusion: Implementing a clinical nursing care pathway plays a crucial role in improving functional recovery in stroke patients. These findings underscore the importance of integrating structured nursing protocols into routine care to enhance stroke rehabilitation. Broader application of such pathways in India is warranted to optimize patient outcomes and reduce stroke-related disability.

Celebrated each October 15th Global Hand Washing Day was initiated in 2008 by the global public private partnership for hand washing with soap, and is endorsed by a wide array of governments, international institutions, civil society organisations, NGOs, private companies and individuals around the globe. In India, it is run in partnership with state education departments and department of Rural development or water supply and sanitation. UNICEF India provides support in developing resource material, teachers guide books and reference materials on hand washing with soap. the vision is of institutionalising this practice before the Mid-Day Meal in All Schools in India so as to reach 120 million students’ s in 1.4 million schools in India The new national campaign, Swachh Bharat: Swachh Vidyalaya (SBSV) or Clean India: Clean Schools was launched in September 2014 heralding a new era in the Indian government, s focus on WASH in schools.

Dysmenorrhea can affect daily activities. The effect of dysmenorrhea is reduced quality of life. The carrot was administered to the school students for the reduction of dysmenorrhea and symptoms. The Most of them had reduction in dysmenorrhea and symptoms the carrot juice is proved to be very effective in menstrual cycle.

Objectives of the Study: 1. To assess the Dysmenorrhea among adolescents girls. 2. To evaluate the effectiveness of carrot juice on Dysmenorrhea among the adolescent girls. 3. To find out the association between effectiveness of carrot juice on Dysmenorrhea with selected demographic variables.

Design and Method Quantitative Evaluative Research Approach was found to be most appropriate. quasi experimental (pre and post–test control group design) was used in this study. Sample for the studied consisted of 60 school students and selection was done on the basis of Non-Probability purposive sampling selected government school Gwalior. In this study 30 dysmenorrhoea girls were taken as experimental group, this group carrot juice was given for seven consecutive days and 30 dysmenorrhoea girls for control group were got normal treatment. Tool was prepared for collection of data. Demographic variables, Simple descriptive pain scale, Rating scale for symptoms of dysmenorrhea.

Results: The mean of adolescents girls with dysmenorrhoea is 2.66 and the standard deviation is 0.18 during pre-test assessment by the simple descriptive pain scale. In post test evaluation the mean is 1.2 and the standard deviation of 0.07 in experimental group. The mean of adolescents girls with dysmenorrhoea is 58.6 and standard deviation is 2.77 during pre-test assessment by the rating scale on symptoms of dysmenorrhoea. In post test evaluation the mean is 27.4 and thestandard deviation is 1.17 in experimental group. The mean of adolescents girls with dysmenorrhoea is 3.03 and standard deviation is 38 0.163 during the pre-test assessment by the simple descriptive pain scale. In post test evaluation the mean is 2.66 and standard deviation is 0.165 in control group. The mean of the adolescents girls with dysmenorrhoea is 50.4 and the standard deviation is 2.89 during pretest assessment by the rating scale on symptoms of dysmenorrhoea. In post test evaluation the mean is 53 and the standard deviation 2.6 in control group.

Discussion: The present study concluded to assess the effectiveness of carrot juice in reduction of dysmenorrhea and symptoms on school students.

Conculsion: The main study was to assess the effectiveness of carrot juice in reduction of dysmenorrhea and symptoms on school students.

The following conclusion was drawn on the basis of findings of the study:

• The pre test finding showed that the dysmenorrhea and symptoms was present.

• The carrot was administered to the school students for the reduction of dysmenorrhea and symptoms.

• Most of them had reduction in dysmenorrhea and symptoms, the carrot juice is proved to be very effective in menstrual cycle.
