 Text neck syndrome has recently been popular all over the world. Text neck syndrome is a term that is used to describe pain in neck and shoulders those who use mobile phone a lot. As we know that there has been a radical change in the world of technology and using of mobile phones all over the world. Due to this revolutionary change mobile phones are available to each and every one, so people started using mobile phones widely. There are other devices like computers, tablets, e-readers has been used daily. Nowadays, people got habituated to use mobile phones as soon as they get form their sleep; moreover they feel it is fashion. There is also other reason that people are using because of the data charge and talk time. Both of them have been available for the low rate that people can afford to them. It is true that children and adolescents are most preoccupied and always busy in texting, talking and interacting through social media from dawn to before going to bed. While using mobile phone people keep their heads forward bending position for a long time; so it affects the cervical spine and its curvature, the muscles, supporting tendons and ligaments. Text neck syndrome has been increasing day by day as mobile phone users doubling all over the globe. It is high time that universal awareness should be spread among the people and medical community. There are some preventive measures for text neck syndrome like right position of holding mobile phone and right exercise etc. This article will certainly give you some of the reasons for text neck syndrome and its effects and protective measures.

 The chocolate is regarded as an indulgent treat and its delicious taste often consuming with all age groups. But all the parents are saying to their kids that, the chocolate is not good for our health and use to blame the chocolates causing for tooth cavities, acne and weight gain. Now, many research studies evidenced the fact and the scientists recommend to consume the dark chocolates with higher cacao mixture. Since, it has loaded with biologically active organic compounds of antioxidants, flavanols and polyphenols are essential for overall healthy and more efficient than many drugs in preventing various diseases.

 Adolescence is a period of rapid, physical and psychological development. Being a parent is arguably the hardest job on earth and not every person expecting to become a parent is prepared for it. The relationship between parents and their children can have a great influence on their psychological and social wellbeing. The neuro developmental changes during adolescence makes adolescents to take daring challenges in life, without weighing the risks and dangers associated with it. Parents are children’s first teachers and they should set an example in whatever they do as children try to emulate them. Parents need to positively respond to their children even when children put them in difficult situations. Parents need to be supported and taught how to be parents through positive parenting programs.

Background: Upon gaining information regarding the history and diagnostic criteria of the antisocial personality disorder in the DSM, the researchers heeded to find risk factors that may be indicative of impending antisocial personality disorder. Previous studies on conduct disorder in rehabilitation schools have indicated high prevalence and this disorder is associated with criminal activities and is the main risk factor for the development of antisocial personality disorder. Some underlying factors have been associated with the development of antisocial personality disorder among juvenile delinquents. Here, secondary prevention was applied, that is, after identification of such risk factors, the subjects received referral for early treatment to minimize the risk of developing antisocial personality disorder. Method: This study was prospective correlational research design. The convenience non-probability sampling was used in this study. It was conducted from February to May 2018. Interview was used to collect the data from the inmates. Results: A prevalence rate of 34.38% was found among the inmates of the rehabilitation center. In the aspect of marital status, the highest prevalence was among children who came from families where the parents were single, divorced or widowed (21.21% each). Majority of the participants with conduct disorder (90.90%) were between the ages of 12-14 years. children who committed theft had a prevalence rate of 54.54%, those who were charged of vandalism had a prevalence of 27.27% and those of fighting had 18.18% of prevalence. Conclusion: Significant associations were found between age of subjects, number of admissions, level of education, parent income range, types of crime committed, marital status of parents and substance addiction of parents, and occurrence of conduct disorder. The prevalence of conduct disorder was significantly high among juvenile delinquents in the rehabilitation center, which makes it a matter of major concern requiring quick intervention before these children advance into serious criminal activities.

 Background of the study: Child sexual abuse, also called child molestation, is a form of child abuse in which an adult or older adolescent uses a child for sexual stimulation. Forms of child sexual abuse include engaging in sexual activities with a child, indecent exposure, child grooming or using a child to produce child pornography. The global prevalence of child sexual abuse has been estimated at 19.7% for females and 7.9% for males. The Indian government has acknowledged that child sexual abuse is an issue which requires government intervention. Objective of the study: To assess the pretest level of knowledge regarding child sexual abuse among high school students. To develop and evaluate the structured teaching programme on child sexual abuse. To assess the posttest level of knowledge regarding child sexual abuse among high school students. To find the effectiveness of school-based education programme on child sexual abuse. To find out the association between pre-test knowledge score of knowledge on child sexual abuse with their selected demographic variables. Methods: The study involved non-experimental approach, and non-experimental one group pre and posttest design research design with non-probability convenient sampling technique. To collect the data from respondents, knowledge on child sexual abuse questionnaire was used and administered to 50 high school students following inclusion and exclusion criteria. The tool consisted 20 items regarding assessment of child sexual abuse. The results were described by using descriptive and inferential statistics. Result: In pretest 10.0% had adequate where as in posttest 90.0% of the samples reached adequate knowledge on child sexual abuse. This shows an improvement in knowledge level after STP. In the assessment of pretest overall mean knowledge mean percentage was 39.60. In the assessment of posttest overall mean knowledge mean percentage was 82.90. In this study the Calculated ‘t’ value 10.607 was higher than the tabulated ‘t’ value of 2.027. So, the H1hypothesis is accepted. The researcher concluded the teaching was effective. There was significant relationship between selected demographic variable ‘knowledge on child sexual abuse’ with the knowledge level on child sexual abuse, as the calculated chi-square value is higher than the tabulated value in the 0.05 level of significance. So, the null hypothesis was rejected and H2 was accepted.

 Dental caries is one of the most common chronic disease that affect individuals at all ages, it is the principle oral problem in children and Adolescents. Dental caries is a disease which causes a progressive disintegrating of the inorganic and structure of the teeth. Children are the most important segment of our population and intend to receive attention from family, school, society and government. Children are truly the foundation of a society because healthy children grow to become healthy and strong adults who can actively participate in the developmental activities of a nation. Children spend considerable period of their lifetime in the school right from their childhood to adolescence. It has been proven that school can provide an ideal platform for the promotion of oral health. The research approach adopted in the present study was evaluative approach, and research design was one group pre test and post test design which belongs to pre - experimental design. Purposive Non random sampling technique was used to select the school as well as the sample. The sample size was of 60 school children’s age between 8 to 14 years. Data were collected by using structured interview schedule and structured teaching programme was intervened, again after a gap of seven days and post test was conducted with the same tool. Result showed that the pre test mean score was 13.5 (S.D =2.487) and in post test it was 26.02 (S.D =3.417). The mean post test knowledge score were higher than the mean pretest scores which indicated an improvement in the knowledge level of the respondents after structured teaching programme.
