A burn is defined as a thermally induced traumatic injury to organic tissue. The most often reported thermal injuries in children under the age of 16 were scalds and contact burns. In this case study, the usefulness of low level laser therapy was examined in relation to pediatric scald burn wounds, taking into account how it affected wound bed preparation, and time to grafting. A 1 year old male child with scald burns over 20% body surface area received low level laser therapy once per week for a total of four sessions. Low level laser therapy was found to help in better wound bed preparation, and early grafting. We conclude that low level laser treatment can be used as an adjunct to treat paediatric scald burns successfully.

This study looked into disaster nursing research as well as the models that were used. It offers a thorough examination of the many catastrophe nursing models accessible. The number of disaster nursing healthcare practice is continuously increasing. Conducting scientific study in this area, on the other hand, is both ethically and practically complex and challenging. As a result, it's not surprising that collecting scientific data during disasters isn't often a top priority for first responders. The majority of research on disaster health planning, response, and recovery is descriptive of the circumstances before or after the disaster. To achieve evidence based practice, disaster healthcare practitioners must seek innovative techniques to comprehend the health aspects of a disaster and to evaluate their practice, both in real time and retrospectively, both during and after the relief phase. Of course, some disaster related concerns can only be researched at specific times, such as posttraumatic mental health disorders and individual and community responses to disasters. There is a significant opportunity and demand for research that contributes to the science of disaster health care and supports how we plan for and respond to catastrophe related health issues. The aim is to create research methods that produce reliable results and allow us to compare findings across studies, events, and societies in order to increase the quality of evidence that supports our practice.

This case report on a 12 year old boy who presented with cervical lymphadenopathy who have been evaluated and treated for Tuberculosis which later was diagnosed as Hodgkins lymphoma. This article highlights the importance of differentiating and diagnosing lymphoma at the earliest. Early and prompt treatment improves the prognosis in Hodgkins lymphoma. Key Messages: The article stresses the importance of differentiating and promptly diagnosing Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) occurs in about 1 in 3000 births. It usually presents at birth because of the defects in the foramen of Bochdalek or Morgagni in the postero-lateral or anterior part of the diaphragm. The late presentation in adulthood is rare and is reported in the literature. We describe anesthetic management of a rare case of 45-year-old female admitted with history of pain in abdomen who suffered from sealed perforation from the obstructed Morgagni hernia with transverse colon and omentum as contents.
