Igboland, also known as Southeastern Nigeria and some parts of South Nigeria, is the homeland of the Igbo people. It is a cultural and common linguistic region in southern Nigeria. Geographically, it is divided by the lower Niger River into two unequal sections – an eastern and a western section. The states captured in this area includes: Anambra, Enugu, Imo, Abia, Ebonyi, and minor parts of Delta, Benue and Rivers states. The Igbo culture and traditions are filled with many colourful ceremonies that distinguish them from the other tribes in Nigeria. Igba Nkwu Nwanyi is one of the many colourful traditions of the Igbo people, and its intricacies vary from one area to another.
 

The cultural change mainly affected the peoples lifestyle, economy, and consumerism. Due to the consequence of cultural change directly or indirectly influencing the traditional system of their socio-cultural and economic life and also influence the people’s health. The present study traces the quality of life and cultural health of Kurichiya tribal community in Wayand district Kerala. Kurichiya a matrilineal joint family group in habiting in Wayanad district of Kerala state. This population is traditionally agricultural community, and their life and culture tuned accordingly. As a tribal community pursuing certain traditional food culture and a strict customs related their livelihood. But today due to the influence of technological and economic change and for increasing the better quality of life they move to break some cultural practice especially food and economy. This context paper aims to document the way of life has undergone over a period of time and particularly the factors that determine the notion of quality of life and wellbeing.
 

The argument of the article revolves around the issues of women which always have been an undervalued subject to the society. To make the argument secondary data have been used which are both qualitative and quantitative in nature that deals with their role, contribution and limitations.
 

The transgender people present themselves to the world in a wide variety of ways. Transgender is an umbrella term used to describe gender variant people who have gender identity expressions or behaviors not traditionally associated with their birth sex. Transsexuals are those who got surgery of their genital organs. The male to female transsexuals are subjected to a series of social constraints and hazards which have made their lives miserable in Karnataka the respondents are also economically marginalized sections of Indian society since they are deprived of basic needs, infrastructure, education, properties, self employment opportunities, public employment opportunities and other economic resources.
 

Baigas are followers of one of the very ancient cultural tradition and clam themselves as first human on earth. A significant part of their culture is lost or changed due to impact of migration, acculturation, development and change with time and space. The people who are living near the urban centers and have frequent interactions with
the other communities, or their children attending to schools and they have made links with the outsiders, look a bit different from their Baiga brethren living on the hill tops and in remote forest tracts. This paper deals with the culture, life style and cultural change among the Baigs of Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh in my area of study.
