Crown fractures of the anterior teeth are common in cases of trauma. In which 2-13% cases accounts for complicated Crown fractures. Severe pain is the main chief complaint in such patients because of the exposed pulpal tissue. Such patients require emergency care. Because of impaired aesthetics, pain and loss of function these patients are quite apprehensive amidst the treatment. The article here describes immediate management of a complicated horizontal crown fracture of maxillary right central incisor. Central incisor was treated with reattachment procedure using light transmitting fibre post. After 1 year follow-up, reattached fragment showed satisfactory healing, esthetics and function.

Dentistry involves close face-to-face interaction with patients, hence during the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been mostly suspended. Teledentistry can offer an innovative way to restart dental practice during this pandemic. This review article emphasizes the benefits and application of telecommunication in dentistry, its importance during the pandemic era, and also highlights legal and ethical issues concerning the practice of Teledentistry

Composite restorations are the most commonly used restorative material used for restoration of teeth. Postoperative sensitivity following the restoration is very common. The causes can vary from depth of cavity, total or partial exposure of dentinal tubules preparation and increased permeability to status of pulp causing increased outward fluid flow rate through the tubules. Sensitivity was elicited by application of cold (ice stick), compressed air, and masticatory forces. Many techniques have been used to overcome this problem. It is very important to preserve the primary teeth in the dental arch till its normal anticipated exfoliation occurs for a range of esthetic, functional, physiological, and psychological reasons. Therefore it is important to treat pulpally involved teeth due to various carious and/or non-carious reasons. Pulp therapies range from indirect pulp capping to pulpectomy. The conventional way of performing biomechanical preparation in pulpectomy is by use of hand files. However, advances are not uncommon in Pediatric practice to make the treatment more efficient, less time-consuming. The rotary systems in Pediatric endodontic practice are now gaining popularity because of their efficiency and this article aims at understanding various rotary systems exclusively available for use in Pediatric endodontics.
