Burns is defined as a wound caused by exogenous agent leading to coagulative necrosis of the tissue. Most burns are due to heat from hot liquids, solids or fire. A fourth degree burn additionally involves injury to deeper tissues, such as muscle, tendons or bone. Management of burn wound by natural Madhu and Haridra as local application. A 5 years child female patient visited OPD with burn on both gluteal regions due to fall down on hot iron plate. On local examinations, the buttock seen redness, discharge, blackish slough was noted so diagnosed as fourth
degree burn. In first week after treatment blackish discoloration was reduced completely. On second week healthy granulation was observed without any discharge. The wound healed completely within one month with minimal scar formation and normal skin coloration. Single case study reveals healing effect with Madhu and Haridra (Curcuma longa L.) in fourth degree burn wound.

Visarpa (Herpes zoster) is a skin disease which is occurring due to a virus. This is contagious and is spreading among people. According to Ayurveda, Visarpa is caused due to Pittakara ahara and vihara. It is a pittja nanatmaja vyadhi.1 Reddish small eruptions start in erythematous skin lesions followed by pustule formation with severe burning sensation
of skin, pain and itching in that region.2 Ayurveda medicines have a better role in the management of Herpes. Sheeta veerya, Tikta rasayukta, Pittahara and Rakta Shuddhikara aushadhis play a better role in the alleviation of signs and symptoms of this disease.3,4 The present paper highlights the role of Ayurveda medicine in the management of Visarpa (Herpes zoster)

Corona virus disease 2019, a novel pneumonia is shaking the entire world. This pandemic is caused by a novel corona virus, SARS-CoV-2, a dreadful virus thought to be spread from bats to humans via pangolins. First reported in Wuhan, Hubei province of China, the virus has spread to around 213 countries across the globe infecting lakhs and lakhs of people. The virus mainly spreads by droplets coming from the coughing, sneezing activities, by touching the infected surfaces, person to person contact etc., causing severe respiratory problems. Scientists across the globe are working hard to prepare potential drug candidates and vaccines to target this novel virus. As the virus mainly infects lungs and causes severe respiratory illness, increasing the lung capacity by improving respiratory pressure and pulmonary function will help protect and save the lives of the people from severe ill effects of the SARS-CoV-2 infection. In addition, the people with compromised immune system are mainly prone to severe infection. Yoga and Pranayama are the best solutions to improve pulmonary function and to boost the immune system. The main purpose of the present article is to raise awareness amongst the public regarding the importance of Yoga and
Pranayama in improving the respiratory function and as well in boosting the immune system to fight against this novel corona virus.

Prakriti denotes natural psychosomatic constitution of a person and it does not harm a person in the same way as the poison of poisonous snake. In general terms it is a normal state of health. In single and dual types of dosha types of Prakriti dominance of particular dosha, predisposes the person to the certain disorders belonging to that
class of Dosha. For instance, the person of Vata Prakriti is likely to suffer more from vata disorders and that of Pitta Prakriti from Pitta disorders and so on. No Prakriti is good or bad, as each prakriti has its own merits and demerits. Only Sama Prakriti is acceptable. We can handle people of above personality by knowing characteristics of these personalities and Prakruti. In Ayurveda Prakriti plays an important role in treatment of any patient at the time of selection of yoga (kalpa).

Context: Literature on meditation suggests multi fold benefits on personality. Yet, very few researches explored meditation in its traditional context utilising both empirical and anecdotal evidence to get insights about the way it impacts the practitioners and their subjective experiences. Aim: The study aims to explore the impact of a Buddhist
Mediation retreat on Depression, Stress, Anxiety and Affect regulation of participants and their qualitative outcomes. Methods: One hundred subjects were studied through convenience sampling who participated in a ten day meditational retreat for the first time at Tushita Meditation Centre. Further, qualitative analysis was conducted on ten participants who exhibited significant changes on their quantitative measures to understand their motivation, deeper perspectives and experiences of the retreat. Results: The retreat was found to be effective in reducing the
severity of depression, anxiety and stress symptoms significantly and also in regulation of emotions (all p >0.001). The qualitative analyzes yielded overarching themes - (a) self development, distress and imbalance regulation; (b) self exploration, insightful values and physical challenge; (c) internalizing Impermanence and attaining Equanimity.
Conclusion: The findings provides a detailed understanding on the impact of retreat interventions which can be of strategic research benefit for studying as a model system to understand the transforming effects of meditation, identify the peripheral conditions or the dosage requirement to bring about an outcome and in realizing the holistic effect of meditation training at an individual level.

Ṛddhī (Habenaria intermedia D. Wear) is one among the remarkable plants of nature. It is categorized under different groups of plants viz. Aṣṭavarga, Padamakādi-gaṇa, Kākolyādi-gaṇa etc. in different authoritative texts of Āyurveda. It is also an important ingredient of preparations like Cyavanaprāśa-rasāyana, Mahākalyāṇa-ghṛta, Amṛtprāsha-ghṛta, Aṣṭavarga-cūrṇa, Bṛṁhaṇī-guṭikā and Vājīkara-ghṛta, etc. Natural habitat of this herb is Himalayan ranges. It grows at the height of 2000 m, primarily in North-West Himalaya. It has been used in many parts of the world in traditional healing system for the treatment of different diseases. The tubers of this herb are used for therapeutic purpose. It is vital healthful herb in Asian country since earlier period.
