The US-led global war on terror has impacted the security of South Asian states more than any other regions. Such impacts can be analyzed at four levels: domestic, bilateral, regional and global levels. This essay analyzes the policies of India and Pakistan during the global war on terror and examines the security impacts of these policies.
It also checks the impacts of war on terror on bilateral relationship among India, Pakistan and Afghanistan. It also figures out the potential security challenges to the region when the US withdraw from Afghanistan.
