My name is Dr. Yalpi Karthik,
and I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Autonomous University of Mexico
(UNAM), specializing in plant biology, microbiology, molecular biology,
biochemistry, and bioinformatics. My research focuses on plant–microbe interactions,
functional genomics, microbial biotechnology, and translational life sciences,
with an emphasis on understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying plant
symbiosis, stress tolerance, and sustainable agriculture. I have extensive
experience in molecular cloning, gene expression analysis, RNA interference,
transcriptomics, protein biochemistry, microbial metabolite characterization,
and computational biology. To date, I have authored numerous peer-reviewed
publications in internationally recognized journals and actively contribute as
a reviewer and editor for scientific journals. My long-term research goal is to
integrate molecular biology, functional genomics, and bioinformatics to develop
innovative strategies that enhance crop productivity, improve environmental
sustainability, and translate fundamental biological discoveries into practical
agricultural and biomedical applications.
