Dr. Viral Prahladbhai Prajapati is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Plant Protection, ASPEE College of Horticulture and Forestry, Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari. Born on January 3, 1985, he is 40 years old and has expertise in Mycology, Epidemiology, and Disease management of field crops and horticultural crops. He has received several awards, including the "Dr. H. U. Joshi Gold Medal" and "Young Scientist Award" for his contributions to Plant Pathology.

With over 12 years of experience in UG/PG teaching, PG guiding, and research, Dr. Prajapati has significantly contributed to the field of Plant Pathology. He has taught 20 courses under UG and PG programs and guided eight PG students as a Major Advisor. He has also contributed to the development of the Department of Plant Protection and has been involved in various research projects.

Dr. Prajapati has published numerous research papers, books, and practical manuals, and has delivered lectures to farmers on disease management in agriculture and horticulture crops. He is a member of various scientific societies and has received recognition for his work, including the "Prof. M.J. Narshimhan Academic Merit Award" and "PR Verma Award" for the best Ph.D. thesis.
