Introduction


Mr. R. Vinoth is an academician and pharmaceutical researcher specializing in pharmaceutics, drug delivery systems, and pharmaceutical formulation development. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics at Swami Vivekanandha College of Pharmacy, Tiruchengode, Tamil Nadu, India. He holds a Master of Pharmacy in Industrial Pharmacy from Annamalai University, where his postgraduate research focused on the formulation development and technology transfer of oral syrup.

Mr. Vinoth’s research interests include advanced drug delivery systems, nano-formulations, pharmaceutical process optimization, pharmacovigilance, quality control, and the emerging role of artificial intelligence in drug discovery and development. He has authored and co-authored numerous research and review articles published in peer-reviewed journals, including those indexed in Web of Science, covering areas such as mucoadhesive drug delivery, antimicrobial resistance, immunological therapeutics, and pharmaceutical formulation science.

He is actively involved in scientific innovation and holds a published Indian patent related to an AI-augmented optical mapping platform for detecting cardiac arrhythmia sources. Mr. Vinoth also serves as a peer reviewer for international journals and participates in various academic conferences and faculty development programs.

He is a life member of several professional organizations, including the Tamil Nadu Pharmacy Council, Indian Pharmaceutical Association, Indian Pharmacy Graduates’ Association, and the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India. Through his academic and research contributions, Mr. Vinoth is committed to promoting high-quality pharmaceutical research and advancing innovation in healthcare.
