Introduction


Dr. Supriya Krishna is a highly accomplished professional specializing in Forensic Chemistry and Toxicology, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Delhi Campus. She completed her M.Sc. in Forensic Science from LNJN NICFS in 2012 and holds a Ph.D. in Forensic Medicine and Toxicology from AIIMS, New Delhi (2019). Her core technical expertise encompasses the detection and analysis of drugs and poisons from various biological and non-biological matrices, with a specific proficiency in post-blast residue analysis of explosives using advanced instrumentation like HPLC, GC, and FTIR. Beyond her academic and research duties, Dr. Krishna is actively involved in national capacity building, providing essential hands-on training to officers from FSLs, the Judiciary, Police, BSF, DRDO, and NSG in forensic chemical analysis.
