Dr Sunita Kumari MBBS, MD, DMCH working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Physiology AIIMS, Vijaypur, Jammu. I am a graduate and post graduate student of GMC Jammu and I have done Post Graduate Diploma in Mother and Child Health from Indira Ghandhi National Open University (World’s largest open university). I have a teaching experience of touching six years (five years & 11 months) at various reputed institutes of the country namely, GMC Jammu and AIIMS Jammu. I have published nine scientific papers in various indexed and peer reviewed national as well as international journals. I am a columnist in esteemed newspapers namely “State Times” & “Daily Excelsior” and also in quarterly E-newsletter (Swasthya Sarvopari) of Director General of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. I am life member of various technical expert groups, namely, Association of Physiologists and Pharmacologists of India (APPI), Association of Physiologists of India (ASSOPI), Indian Society of Hypoxia and Mountain Medicine (ISHMM), Indian Society of Sports and Exercise Medicine (ISSEM). I am a member editorial board of Annual College Magazine of AIIMS Jammu for the Academic Years 2023-24 and 2024-25. I am actively involved in spreading health awareness among the masses and give frequent health awareness talks on U-tube channel & Tawi Media. I have been external as well as internal examiner for Physiology (MBBS course at GMC Jammu and AIIMS Jammu respectively). I have been invited guest faculty at various National as well as State level conferences as well.
