Dr. Mhaske Sunil Natha, born on February 28, 1970, is a highly accomplished academician and clinician in the field of Paediatrics. He holds four advanced qualifications: an M.B.B.S. (1991), an M.D. in Paediatrics (1996) from Pune University, an M.B.A. in Hospital Administration (2016), and an M.A. in Public Administration (2017). With over 21 years of teaching experience (18 post-PG), he currently serves as the Professor and Head of the Department of Paediatrics, the Vice-Principal (P.G.) (since 2014), and the Officiating Principal (since 2017) at Dr. Vithalrao Vikhe Patil Foundation’s Medical College in Ahmednagar. Dr. Mhaske is a distinguished medical editor, being the Editor-in-Chief of the VIMS Health Science Journal (which he pioneered) and the Indian Journal of Trauma and Paediatric Emergency. His scholarly output is extensive, featuring over 140 publications (Original Articles, Case Reports, and Reviews) and 8 books on Paediatrics, and he holds seven published patent applications related to paediatric diagnostic and educational tools. His excellence has been recognized with the MUHS Best Teacher Award and the Dr. Sharadini Dahanukar Best of Best Teacher Award in 2017. He has successfully guided 10 Post-Graduate students and overseen multiple funded research projects, demonstrating significant commitment to education, research, and outreach, including organizing the annual Warkary Arogya camp.
