I am Sneha Mohan Mankar, a dedicated Lecturer with a robust academic and clinical background, currently serving at Sinhgad College of Nursing in Pune. My primary specialization is Mental Health Nursing, a field I've been committed to since completing my M.Sc. in Mental Health Nursing from MUHS, Nashik in 2014. Before moving into academia, I gained valuable clinical experience as a Staff Nurse, which grounds my teaching in real-world professional practice.
My academic career is characterized by active scholarship and leadership. I have published several research papers on contemporary mental health issues, with a strong focus on subjects like internet addiction, nocturnal eating patterns, stress management techniques, and substance abuse among students and employees. This commitment to advancing nursing knowledge extends to my editorial roles for publications, including the Journal of Nursing Today, demonstrating my engagement with the quality and direction of academic discourse.
As an educator and mentor, I focus heavily on research guidance, having supervised multiple undergraduate research projects across behavioral and public health domains. Beyond the classroom, I contribute to institutional development by serving as a resource person for training programs on topics such as Substance Abuse and Stress Management. I also take an active role in the college's administrative functions, serving on the Counselling, Alumni, and Documentation Committees.
