Prof.  Nagendra Ambedkar Sole (b1962) is a professor and founding Head of the Department of Public Policy, Law and Governance and professor-in-Charge of the Central Library at the Central University of Rajasthan. He was formerly Dean, School of Social Sciences and Dean Student’s Welfare, Dean Accreditation, Ranking and Controller of Examination the Central University of Rajasthan. At the Central University of Rajasthan he has served as member of Academic Council and Executive Council. He had his Master’s and M.Phil from the Central University of Hyderabad and PhD from Osmania University, Hyderabad. He has served as Director, Regional Centre at the Kota Open University, Kota (renamed as Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University) from 1995 to 2007. He was nominated to the Governing Council of Inter University Consortium (IUC) of Madhya Pradesh Bhoj Open University in 2007. Prior to joining the Central University of Rajasthan in 2012, he was Regional Director as well as Director at IGNOU between 2007 and 2012. During his tenure as Regional Director of IGNOU, IGNOU reached its new heights in terms of enrolment. He was instrumental in establishing IGNOU Regional Centre at Jodhpur, Rajasthan. He has published 13 books and over 75 journal articles and book chapters with reputed International and National publishers. The latest books includes Governance in India: Fresh Perspectives (2020), Public Policy in India: Changing Contours (2020), Emerging Trends in Public Administration: Engagement in Policy and Service Delivery for the 21st Century (2019), Social Policy (20    18). Some of his books and articles are suggested readings for various universities in the country as well as abroad. He has presented papers and chaired sessions in number of National and International Seminars and Conferences. He has over 30 years of experience and has also served as National President of New Public Administration Society for two consecutive terms. Prof. S. N.
