I am Dr. Shree Ram Karir, a Ph.D. scholar in Veterinary Surgery and Radiology at the Post Graduate Institute of Veterinary Education and Research (PGIVER), Jaipur. I hold a Master's degree in Veterinary Surgery and Radiology (2024) and a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (2022). Throughout my academic journey, I have demonstrated a deep commitment to veterinary science, with a particular focus on diagnostic imaging, surgery, and animal welfare.
As a postgraduate student, I gained valuable clinical experience at the Veterinary Clinical Complex, PGIVER, where I managed diverse cases involving small and large animals. I also completed a one-year compulsory rotational internship, gaining hands-on experience in wildlife medicine, zoo animal health care, rural veterinary practice, and public health programs. Currently, as a Ph.D. scholar, I am involved in teaching and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students, assisting in clinical training, and conducting research in veterinary diagnostic imaging and small animal orthopaedics.
I am passionate about evidence-based veterinary practices and the development of minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic techniques. I have authored several research and review articles in reputed national and international journals and have actively participated in conferences, symposia, and workshops. As a Life Member of the Indian Society for Veterinary Surgery and a member of various academic and scientific bodies, I am committed to promoting the advancement of veterinary science. I am honored to serve on the editorial board of your esteemed journal and look forward to contributing to its growth and impact.
