DR. SHIV RATTAN KOCHAR (MBBS), MD Pathology 1986 & MD Forensic Medicine 1995 (First Post Graduate in Forensic Medicine from SMS Medical College, Jaipur, University of Rajasthan) has served for 37 years as teaching faculty in various medical colleges which includes SMS Medical College, Jaipur (13 years), RNT Medical College, Udaipur (5 years), Mahatma Gandhi Medical College, Jaipur (3 years), S.P. Medical College, Bikaner (6 Years) & Govt. Medical College, Kota (3 Years) etc. He has worked as Vigilance Officer & Technical Advisor in Directorate of Medical Education. He has done many trainings in medical education which includes TTC (Teachers Training Course), Basic & Revised basic course , Advanced Course in Medical Education (ACME of National Medical Commission in 2016) etc. He is presently working as Principal & Controller and Senior Professor & Head, Department of Forensic Medicine, Shri Kalyan Government Medical College, Sikar, Rajasthan. He has published more than 20 research papers in various Journals of National and International repute. He has been awarded "Life time Achievement Award, 2022" from Indian Society of Toxicology at Toxocon-16 at KMC, Mangalore, 05-06 November,2022. He has also been awarded Fellowship of Indian Academy of Forensic Medicine in 45^th Annual Conference held at AIIMS ,Nagpur. He has contributed as co-author in many books of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology in National/ International edited books
