Introduction


Dr. Sangit Sarita Dwivedi is a renowned Professor in the Department of Political Science at Bharati College, University of Delhi, where she has been teaching since 2004. She holds a Ph.D. from CIPOD, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, and has conducted extensive research on Pakistani and North Korean alignments with China. Her academic interests span International Relations, India's Foreign Policy, South Asian and East Asian Studies.

Professor Dwivedi is a prolific author, having published over 25 research papers, contributed to numerous chapters in edited books, and authored a book titled 'Perspectives on International Relations and World History'. She has presented at national and international conferences, chaired multiple sessions, and has been invited as an expert in various interview panels. Her work has been recognized globally, with her papers featured in academic syllabi and cited in various books, journals, and academic works worldwide. She is also the recipient of the prestigious 'Lakshmi Saraswati Durga Award 2024'.
