IntroductionI am Dr. Taranpreet Kaur, a dedicated and accomplished medical professional specializing in both General Medicine and the crucial sub-field of Infectious Diseases. My foundational journey began with rigorous training at Govt Medical College, Jammu, culminating in my M.B.B.S. in 2011 and subsequently an M.D. in Medicine in 2015. With over seven years of comprehensive clinical practice, I have cultivated a patient-centric philosophy that prioritizes clinical excellence, advanced diagnostics, and evidence-based care across a wide spectrum of acute and chronic internal medicine cases.
My dedication to specialization is underscored by focused advanced training, including a Fellowship in General Infectious Diseases from the prestigious CMC, Vellore (2022), and a Diploma in Tropical Medicine & Hygiene from WSOA, London. These specialized qualifications have significantly enhanced my capacity to manage critical infectious conditions and address complex global health challenges. I currently leverage this expertise in my academic and clinical role as an Assistant Professor of General Medicine at AIIMS, Jammu, a position I have held since March 2022. Previously, I served as an Assistant Professor at SGRRIM&HS, Dehradun, contributing significantly to both clinical service delivery and the education of future medical professionals.
