Introduction


Dr. Sagar Bayaskar is currently working as Scientist C (Medical) at the Indian Council of Medical Research – Centre for Research in Medical and Community Health (ICMR-CRMCH). He holds a Master of Public Health (MPH), an MBA in Health, and a Diploma in Clinical Research and Pharmacovigilance. His academic and professional focus lies in preventive medicine, epidemiology, and community health.

With over five years of experience in public health research and clinical project management, Dr. Bayaskar has authored more than 20 peer-reviewed articles in national and international journals. His work spans key areas including non-communicable diseases, mental health, sickle cell disease, nutrition, and digital health. He also serves as a peer reviewer for multiple indexed medical journals.

Dr. Bayaskar’s research emphasizes evidence-based interventions, health education, and policy-oriented solutions targeting vulnerable populations, including tribal and rural communities. His contributions align closely with the objectives of preventive medicine in advancing community well-being and sustainable healthcare systems
