Introduction


I am pleased to introduce myself as Dr. Riddhita Parikh, Assistant Professor in Psychology at Faculty of Law, GLS University. My core specialization focuses on domains like core and applied psychology, gender crimes, legal psychology, criminology and forensic and cyber psychology. I have completed my Ph. D in the field of Clinical Psychology with my research focusing in the area of neurodevelopmental disorders. My association with teaching field is over 10 years. Currently, I am associated with Red Flower Publication, New Delhi, India as Editor – in-Chief, hold a life time membership at Bhartiya Counselling Psychology Association, International Association of Holistic Psychology and Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom. Have participated at numerous national and international conferences, seminars and workshops specifically pertaining to the field of psychology. Have authored chapters in various books. Have bagged best research papers awards at several conferences. Have conducted array of research on topics like: Parenting Styles and its influence on children, Trait emotional intelligence, psychological well-being of adolescences, psychological well-being of victims, well-being of migrant workers during COVID-19, Mental wellness of mompreneurs, improving the quality of life as a part of restorative environmental approach. I am also invited at guest speaker to deliver sessions on parenting, mental health, soft skills and communication trainings and various topics pertaining to psychology and wellness.
