He has served Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya, Cooch Behar (W.B.) as Lecturer in Agricultural Meteorology.

He has also served Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agric. Sciences & Technology-Jammu as Technical Officer (Agromet.). He has also been Associated Scientist in “AICRP on Agrometeorology at SKUAST-Jammu. He established Agrometeorological Observatory at V.C.S.G., College of Horticulture, Bharsar and initialized data collection. As O/C Library at VCSG CH-Bharsar he has established fully equipped e-library. He was Assistant Warden (Boys Hostel) at VCSG CH-Bharsar for the Academic year 2006-07.

He is throughout First Class in his student life. He was awarded Punjab Agricultural University Fellowship during Ph.D. (Agricultural Meteorology) at PAU Ludhiana and part time graduate Teaching/Research Assistantship in AICRP on Agroforestry during M.Sc. Ag. (Agrometeorology) at G.B.P.U.A.&T., Pantnagar.

He was recipient of ICAR Merit cum Means Scholarship during B.Sc. Ag. & A.H.

He has published 20 research papers, 18 Symposia abstract, 11 popular articles and five annual progress reports.
