Introduction

I am Dr. Rajendra Singh Kulhari, an Assistant Professor of Forensic Medicine with a profound commitment to both clinical and educational excellence. My foundational journey began with an M.B.B.S. degree from Government Medical College, Kota, followed by a specialization with an M.D. in Forensic Medicine from Sardar Patel Medical College, Bikaner, where I currently contribute significantly to the department. Since 2016, I have dedicated myself to nurturing future medical practitioners, initially as a Senior Demonstrator and continuously as an Assistant Professor, a role that perfectly leverages my deep subject expertise. My professional experience also includes valuable service as a Medical Officer for the Government of Rajasthan, providing a crucial, field-level perspective that enriches my teaching and medicolegal practice today.

My commitment to the field extends far beyond the classroom, evidenced by a prolific research and publication portfolio. I have authored and co-authored seventeen papers in esteemed publications, exploring diverse topics from age estimation using radiological methods to complex medicolegal autopsy profiles and poisoning trends. This scholarly output is complemented by my role as a peer reviewer for prestigious journals, including the Journal of Indian Academy of Forensic Medicine (JIAFM) and the Journal of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology (JFMT), reflecting my dedication to maintaining high standards of academic integrity. Furthermore, I have formalized my research expertise by completing advanced ICMR-NIE courses in Basic Biomedical Research, Ethics Review, and Scientific Writing, underlining a comprehensive approach to medical scholarship and ethical practice. I have also contributed to the field's literature through book publications, notably Basic Course in Biomedical Research MCQs and chapters in standard textbooks.

In addition to my teaching and research contributions, I maintain active leadership and professional development roles within the medicolegal community. I recently served as the Organizing Secretary for RAJFMTCON – 23, a major responsibility that highlights my organizational skills and standing among peers. My participation in numerous specialized workshops—covering areas like Forensic Anthropology, Histopathology, and Curriculum-Based Medical Education (CBME)—demonstrates a continuous drive for incorporating the latest advancements into my practice. As a proud member of several professional bodies, including the Indian Academy of Forensic Medicine (IAFM) and the Indian Society of Toxicology, I remain fully engaged with the scientific discourse, striving to uphold the highest standards in forensic science, toxicology, and medical education.
