Cardiothoracic & Vascular surgeon for the last 30 years. Had initial training from India. Did cardiothoracic surgery certification from Australasian college of Surgeons, after getting trained at Green Lane Hospital, Auckland, NZ and Royal Adelaide Hospital, Australia. I had fellowship training in Heart and Lung Transplant from Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). Oregon, USA, following which I was instructor in the Cardiothoracic& Vascular surgery at the OHSU, USA.I did independent practice as senior consultant in Chennai, India from 2004 to 2016, after which I moved to Mauritius Cardiac centre as senior consultant till 2017.I am still help them in Mauritius, in case of serious difficult cases. So far, I have done 20,000 open heart surgeries.Now I am working at The Karen Hospital, Nairobi as Prof&Chief of Cardiothoracic &Vascular surgery.
