IntroductionPankaj Datta, graduated from the prestigious College of Dental Surgery, Manipal, he was awarded a Gold Medal for being the “Best Graduate” and topped the All India PG entrance exam in 1995 conducted by MAHE. He completed his MDS (Prosthodontics) from the same institute in 1997. He further went on to complete his 3 months fellowship at UCL Eastman Dental Institute in the United Kingdom, in Casting and Dental Ceramics. He is well qualified in Hospital Management and Healthcare Administration as being a postgraduate MBA, PGDHHM, PGDHCA in the concerned fields.
Datta has held many important positions at various Dental Colleges in Delhi-NCR during his 14 years of teaching and research experience. He has several research publications in International & National Journals to his credit. He has always tried to make the Dental Education more simple, interesting & meaningful. In this pursuit, he has authored a textbook “Dental Materials in Clinics” by CBS Publishers (in Press). He has also been a co-author in the following textbooks:
“Textbook of orthodontics” by Gurkeerat Singh - Jaypee publishers
“Jaypee Gold Standard Mini Atlas Series Orthodontics” - Jaypee publishers
“MCQs in Dentistry for PG Entrance” by Pee Pee Publishers.
Datta has delivered a number of lectures as a guest speaker at various Medical and Dental National Conferences. He is on a panel of experts with mass media (All India Radio & Doordarshan TV Channel) and NGO’s & Voluntary Organizations.
As a senior dentist, he is a member of various National & International associations.
