Assistant Professor
I am Ms. Deeksha Pandey, an M.Sc.
Nursing postgraduate specializing in Mental Health Nursing, with a strong
interest in nursing education, mental health, research, and academic
development. I have completed my M.Sc. Nursing in Mental Health Nursing from Pal
College of Nursing & Medical Sciences, Haldwani, affiliated with HNBUMU,
Dehradun. I am currently working as a Postgraduate Nursing Tutor at Galgotias
University, Greater Noida, where I contribute to teaching, academic
coordination, student mentoring, and educational activities.
I have approximately two years of
experience as a Postgraduate Nursing Tutor and one year of experience as a
Community Health Officer. My clinical and internship exposure includes reputed
healthcare institutions such as AIIMS Rishikesh, Dr. Vidya Sagar Institute of
Mental Health, Amritsar, Institute of Mental Health and Hospital, Agra, and
Metro Hospital and Heart Institute, Haridwar.
My academic interests primarily
focus on Mental Health Nursing, nursing education, innovative teaching-learning
strategies, student well-being, and psychiatric nursing. My M.Sc. dissertation
focused on the effectiveness of an Assertiveness Training Program on
assertiveness, self-esteem, and attitude towards nursing among nursing
students. I have also guided research projects related to nomophobia and the
comparison of traditional classroom teaching with e-learning methods.
I have contributed to academic
publishing through several research and review articles in nursing and mental
health nursing journals. I am also the author of the book Forensic Nursing,
published by Phoenix Publication in 2025, and have contributed as a book
reviewer. Additionally, I hold a registered design for an IoT-Based LED Screen
Fetal Monitor CTG Machine.
I have participated in various
workshops, conferences, and faculty development programs and have been trained
as an Active Learning Facilitator by Nanyang Technological University,
Singapore. I am passionate about academic excellence, evidence-based nursing
education, research, and contributing to the professional development of
nursing.
