My research area are in various biomedical disciplines such as Quality control, microbial cultural diagnostics and molecular biology techniques, I have been an author of writing research papers, Manuals, SOPs, creating innovative protocols, experimental design. Additionally, I have been Co-guide /Co Investigator in research thesis of Ph.Ds/ MDs and research proposals. Also evaluating or reviewing the research papers / thesis. My research activities are associated in the Department of Pediatric and Microbiology, AIIMS since1996-2016 in various Research Projects funded by National and International agencies. My research area was mainly focused on anaerobic bacteriology, Probiotic clinical trials, Mycoplasma, and infectious diseases based on conventional and molecular methods. Recently have been actively involved in a new field since 2017 in the Department of Forensic Medicine, AIIMS as a Research faculty. My overall responsibility is DNA lab management & research development/ Departmental Academic Schedule / PG teaching program / Research Curriculum. The major contribution of DNA lab is Genotyping or genetic investigation of individual’s identification based on conventional autosomal genetic markers (STR profiling). Domain Expertise: Forensic Molecular genetics, Sequencing analysis, Medical Microbiology (Anaerobic Bacteriology), Bacterial genetics and bio toxin, Bioinformatics and Probiotics clinical trials.
