Dr. Sood is an Ear Nose Throat Specialist, currently working as the Director ENT & Cochlear implant BLK-MAX Super Speciality Hospital Delhi. Having 20+ years of experience of treating all ENT related disorders, Dr. Sood is extremely empathetic about her patients and believes in guiding patients throughout their treatment.

• Earlier served as ENT surgeon at Rashtrapati Bhawan at Delhi, and as Consultant at Sri Ganga Ram Hospital, Primus Hospital and Sita Ram Bhartia Hospital.
• Trained through fellowships from reputed institutes such as University of Frieburg in Germany, UPMC in US for endoscopic skull base surgeries
• Co-authored various journals and research papers on sleep apneoa, breathing problems in children and other Ear-nose-Throat related problems
• With immense pride , started the ‘The Cochlear Implant program’ at our centre and planned to start Endoscopic Pituitary and Skull Base surgery Team with the neurosurgery department.
• Proudly leading a brilliant and a competent team in a progressive department which is aimed at quality improvement, relationship building and providing the best patient care.
• I believe in Active self-directed learning through multiple certifications and courses. I have had the privilege to expand and develop the department by bringing in CO2 laser and starting the VOICE lab as program coordinator. Honoured to have worked at The President of India House clinic for The President of India and all the employees of the estate. The volunteer work at the President Estate Clinic gave me abundant experience.
• Enthusiastically involved in mentoring and teaching at workshops and conferences both nationally and as guest faculty internationally. Curated a strong academic program to coach and mentor students in the department and well as fellows and residents visiting for advanced training building their future. Collecting and documenting data, Auditing the departmental work and also reviewing the work of my team mates to improve the quality of the work and practise. We have been conducting regular audits and peer reviews of the department.  Active team building by regional initiatives, CME, Ad boards, Medical initiatives, national level symposia, Nursing trainings, workshops and other strategic academic events.
• Acting as liaison between management, patients, and internal and external groups. Part of various committees in the hospital involving audit and peer review, health care quality and mortality and morbidity data.
• Deeply Involved in community outreach programs conducting medical camps in neighbouring small towns  along with delivering lectures and webinars bringing awareness on various disorders. Volunteering with NON Profit organisations to bring awareness and also to provide healthcare facilities to those who cannot afford the same. Also take pride in fund raising for the unprivileged to provide good quality healthcare facilities where needed
