I have done B.V.Sc. & A.H from Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-Jammu) in 2014. Thereafter, I earned my master’s (M.V.Sc) in the discipline of “Animal Nutrition” from the very same institute in 2016 and was the “Gold medalist” for securing first position in the university. I was awarded an institutional fellowship during my Ph.D. degree programme and completed my Ph.D. (Animal Nutrition) from ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar in 2020. In 2021, I started my professional career entering as Assistant professor, at IIVER, Rohtak and thereafter at Sanskaram College, Jhajjar for a period of 02 years. Afterward, I worked as Assistant Professor in the Department of Animal Nutrition, COVAS, Kishanganj, BASU, Bihar. Presently, I am working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Animal Nutrition, DUVASU, Mathura. I am involved in teaching, research and extension activities in the field of Animal Nutrition since 04 years. I was awarded with “Young Scholar Award in Veterinary Nutrition Science” by Bioinformatics Technologies of India. In the year 2021, I was bestowed upon the “Emerging Researcher Award (1st position)” for my research paper. I am the recipient of Best teacher award (2022), InSc Research Excellence Award (2024), Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule Women’s Achiever’s Award (2024), Dr. C.M. Singh National award of Excellence (2024), Dr. V. Kurien Award of Excellence (2024), IAWV Young Scientist Award (2024), Smt. Chikka thayamma Ramiah Memorial Award (2024). I am a lifetime member of the Animal Nutrition Association (ANA) and Indian Association of Women Veterinarians (IAWV). I have published 23 research and review articles in reputed national and international scientific journals. Moreover, I have also published 03 books, 20 book chapters, 05 laboratory manuals, 55+ magazine articles. I am associated with 04 externally funded research projects. I have also reviewed the manuscripts for both national and international journals.
