Introduction


Dr. Keshav Gupta is an Ear, Nose, Throat Specialist, Medical Faculty, Clinician and Researcher at Modinagar, Ghaziabad India. He graduated (MBBS) from MAMC Agroha and received his postgraduate (MS) in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) from prestigious PGIMS Rohtak. He is an active author and reviewer in the field of Medical Research. He has served as National Editorial Board Member of RFP Journal of ENT and Allied Sciences since 22 March 2024. He has authored and reviewed research papers and book chapters in well-reputed, indexed international journals and publishing agencies. He has an overall H index of 11 and 71 publications. His research interests include Otology, Rhinology, Laryngology, Head and neck surgeries, Allergy, Immunology, Cancer and Microbiology. He has also contributed book chapters to books on Research Methodology and Head & Neck Surgery. He is a guide and mentor in undergraduate and postgraduate studies in medical education. He has the MET and the BCBR certification from the NMC. He is known for his research work on novel cartilage shield tympanoplasty (CST), rhinoscleroma, sinus mucoceles, nasopharyngeal angiofibromas, mucormycosis during COVID-19, necrotizing fasciitis, retropharyngeal abscess, primary laryngeal histoplasmosis, giant neck lipomas and parotid surgeries. Various social organisations have awarded him for his dedicated medical services in this field. He was awarded Asian Hospital Star 2016, Covid Warrior by GS Medical College & Hospital in 2021 and appreciation from Rotary Club Pilkhuwa in 2021. He is an invited speaker at talk shows and a panellist on radio and television. He is known for his presentations and lectures in various national and international conferences and CME, which were recognised as separate book chapters. He is associated with All India Association of Otolaryngologists (AOI), All India Rhinology Society (AIRS) and Telemedicine Society of India (TSI) as their lifetime member. His contribution to the field of medical research and ENT is innumerable.
